Cancer Walk

This month is a special month for our family simply because of this new world we have been thrown into.  September is cancer awareness month.  We will be participating for the first time in the annual CureSearch Walk in Denver.   It will be Saturday, September 29th 10:00 AM (City Park 17th and York St.) for anyone who would like to join us.

CureSearch uses these walks nationwide to fund research for pediatric cancer, in fact Michael is enrolled in a research project funded by such an event.  We hope good comes from Michael's cancer and one day there can be a cure for every kid with cancer. 

Thanks everyone for your love and support.  We just listened to Taylor Swift's new song about a boy who passed away from pediatric cancer.  It's beautiful but a tear jerker.  I am so thankful for good people like Taylor Swift who are making people more aware of these things.  You can watch her debut of the song when she performed it on television here:
